Cookies and device storage.
RoadCase stores a small amount of data on your device to sign you in and to make scanning work offline. There are no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no analytics.
The RoadCase app

Passkeys are held by your device or your passkey manager, not by RoadCase. We hold only the public credential.
This website
The marketing site at roadcase.tools does not set cookies, does not use analytics, and does not load third-party scripts. Fonts are served from the site itself. Our host, Vercel, keeps ordinary request logs, including IP addresses.
What we do not use
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- No third-party analytics.
- No fingerprinting.
Because everything the app stores is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, except notifications, which you choose, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add storage that is not strictly necessary, we will ask first.
Clearing stored data
Signing out clears your session. Clearing site data in your browser removes everything, including any offline scans that have not yet uploaded. If you scanned offline, reconnect and let the queue flush before clearing site data, or those scans are lost.
